Morals Spain votes for Gay marriage 30/6/05 |
Spain officially approved gay
marriage in the Spanish parliament today, with a vote of 187 for and 147
against the bill. It makes Spain the third country in the world to legalize
gay marriage nation-wide. Canada will become the fourth, if legislation is
passed in July.
Quote: "The new law puts same-sex and heterosexual marriages on the same legal footing, including the right to adopt children. About 5,000 gay couples in Spain have already announced they are queuing up to say "I do", our correspondent says. This follows a world-wide scientific study into the affects of homosexual and lesbian adoption, showing that children raised in these kinds of environments are more likely to suffer from gender confusion and stress. |

Lawlessness abounds UK Teen kills parents 30/6/05 |
A UK teen got life yesterday for killing both his parents in an horrific attack,
and then going on a spending spree, racking up £30,000 of debt on their
credit cards. He was jailed on a reduced charge of manslaughter, claiming
the reason why he carried out the attack is because he had a "personality disorder".
Quote: "He falsely claimed he was a professional tennis player and applied for 13 credit cards in his father's name to fund his fantasies. After battering and stabbing his parents, he went on holiday to the US with his girlfriend Amal Saba, where his excesses included spending £2,200 on a three-night stay in the Presidential Suite of the Plaza Hotel in New York. When he returned home on 12 August he stayed with his girlfriend's parents claiming he was locked out of his house until his parents returned "from holiday". It can be argued that anyone who kills somebody must have a personality disorder, and this shows just to what extent people are prepared to go to bend the laws to justify sin. Israel Terror "tunnels" pose new threat 29/6/05 |
Residents of Gaza now face a new threat from Palestinian terrorists. This
time not from the air with Kassam rockets, but from under ground. An
Islamic Jihad member is in jail after admitting to digging a 20 metre tunnel
into Gush Katif - bypassing an army checkpoint, where he planned to carry
out a suicide bombing. The IDF admit there's not much they can do about the
situation.
Quote: "Palestinian terrorists regularly use tunnels to smuggle weapons from Egypt into the nearby Rafah refugee camp. And Hamas in December killed five Israelis by packing explosives in a tunnel they had dug underneath a military base. But the discovery in Neve Dekalim this week marked the first known case of terrorists planning to infiltrate Gaza's Jewish communities by way of a tunnel. This revelation marks a new precedent in Palestinian terror groups' determination to attack Israeli citizens before the Gaza disengagement is completed. Source WorldNetDaily |

Morals Canada approves gay marriage 29/6/05 |
Canada has become the 3rd country in the world to legalize gay
marriage.
Quote: "The bill would grant same-sex couples legal rights equal to those in traditional unions between a man and a woman, something already legal in a majority of Canadian provinces. The legislation drafted by Prime Minister Paul Martin's minority Liberal Party government was also expected to easily pass the Senate and become federal law by the end of July. The Netherlands and Belgium are the only other two nations that allow gay marriage nationwide. Source myway |

Israel Gaza protests amid Palestinian violence 28/6/05 |
There were further protests
n Israel today over the Gaza disengagement, with the public becoming
increasingly disillusioned because of Palestinian violence. Two boys were murdered
this month by Palestinian gunmen, being sprayed with bullets while they
waited at a bus stop...
Quote: "The attack left 17 year old Avihai Levy instantly dead and two other boys seriously wounded. One of them, 15 year old Aviad Mansour—who was on his way home to surprise his parent’s with a wedding anniversary cake—had both legs amputated due to his severe wounds. He died two days later in a Jerusalem hospital. A PLO Fatah group claimed responsibility for the brazen attack. Over 200,000 people showed their solidarity with the protesters by pulling their vehicles into the side of the road for 15 minutes, considerably slowing traffic. Quote: "Today's campaign, dubbed "Stop for a minute, think for a minute," was led by the Yesha settler's council, which claimed tonight about 40,000 cars and 200,000 demonstrators participated. Drivers were asked to pull over to the side of the road for 15 minutes and exit their vehicles while waving orange ribbons, Israeli flags and anti-disengagement placards. The actual protest lasted over an hour, until Yesha Council leader Pinchas Wallerstein eventually issued an order to end the event. Source David Dolan, WorldNetDaily. |

Temple Mount Gay ruling gives new hope for Revava 27/6/05 |
The ruling yesterday, permitting a Gay pride march to go ahead as planned,
in spite of a previous ban by the Jerusalem Mayor, has given new impetus
into Revava's hopes of organizing
a march in support of rebuilding the Third Temple.
Quote: "David Ha'ivri, director of Revava, an organization with the stated mission of ''restoring self-esteem to the state of Israel by restoring national pride and values," said in response to the court's decision, he will be holding a "Jewish pride" parade the same day on the Temple Mount. "If the Jewish state will allow any other group to assemble, how can they ban Jews from holding a parade demanding access to their holiest site?" asked Ha'ivri. Only Muslims are permitted to enter and worship on the Temple Mount, while Jews and Christians are only permitted to enter on non-Christian and non-Jewish holidays, and must not carry any item of religious significance that might cause offence to the Waqf - the Muslim authority on the site, and must not pray. Mark of the Beast UK will vote on ID Cards 26/6/05 |
The UK House of Commons plan to vote Tuesday whether to accept or reject the
resurrected National
ID Cards Bill. If accepted it will be the first time ID cards have been
introduced in Britain since the Second World War.
Before the election, the government claimed their intention of introducing the card was to prevent terrorists entering the country. Now the government claim the reason for bringing in the card is to reduce fraud and illegal immigration (now uppermost in the public's mind). But its hard to see how such a card can prevent fraud, illegal immigration or terrorism. The card will also not be compulsory, so the system will only be as secure as its weakest link. The card will cost roughly £93 (an initial government estimate), meaning the poorest families will find them difficult to afford. Quote: ""In Labour's Britain there is a sense that we are all now guilty until proven innocent," David Davis (Shadow Home Secretary) continued. "As if to reinforce this point, they now want us to carry around a plastic card with our name, address and photo on it so we can prove who we are all at all times. "This is something which I instinctively oppose. It represents an unhealthy shift in the balance of the relationship between the citizen and the state." The government are trying their best to condition the public for accepting identity cards. But I believe it will take a major crisis in the country before people will accept it. Cards can also be stolen or lost, and can you imagine having to fork out £93 because you lost your card? There is a better system, manufactured in America by Applied Digital Solutions, called the VeriChip. It is a little microchip, about the size of a grain of rice, which can be implanted under the skin. As a result it is almost impossible to steal or lose. After the tragedy of the Asian Tsunami, one News Agency suggested this chip could have helped identify the tens of thousands of corpses, and stated the VeriChip is usually implanted in the right hand or forehead, the exact place where the Mark of the Beast will be implanted, as mentioned in the book of Revelation. Anti-Semitism Anglicans call for action against Israel 25/6/05 |
The Anglican church repeated its call for action
against Israeli firms today, to put pressure on the Israeli government
to find a solution to the conflict there. A few months ago, the church
called for divestment from Israeli companies working in "occupied
areas", including the Gaza strip, West Bank and Golan Heights.
The Anglican church has been criticized, and justly so, for their one-sided view, condemning Israel while keeping silent on Palestinian terror. Quote: "Jon Benjamin, chief executive of the Board of British Deputies of British Jews, told The Guardian newspaper: "That Israel alone should be singled out for such treatment, particularly at a time when dialogue is beginning to prevail, shows an inequality in the treatment of the Jewish state which must raise concerns about the Church's relationship with our community. "Once again, the outrageous falsehoods levelled against Israel are used by the enemies of peaceful co-existence to undermine the genuine goodwill of those who want to see an end to conflict in the region." What this shows, like Palestinian terror groups, the "church" will not be satisfied until Israel hands back all territory, including East Jerusalem and the Temple Mount to the Palestinians. The Catholic church is also keen to see peace in Jerusalem. But the reason for that is, because they want Jerusalem under their control. They want to place a Pope in Jerusalem before the return of Christ, because they believe the Pope is Christ's representative on earth. Unless a Pope is sitting in Jerusalem at His return, the Catholic church will be seen as being a false church, and the Popes weren't Vicars of Christ after all. Source BBC |

Morals "Gay pride" ban in Jerusalem 24/6/05 |
A Gay
pride march planned for next week in Jerusalem may be banned after the
Mayor of the city stated that this march may offend the conservative
majority living in the city. But the Israeli Interior Minister has stated
that if it comes down to it, he will force Jerusalem to hold the Gay pride
march.
Quote: "The city council, including the mayor, decided "it is not right to allow the march or other planned activities to take place in the streets of Jerusalem, fearing that it will create an uproar, offend a wide sector of city residents and out of fear of public disturbances," Eitan Meir, director general of City Hall, said in a letter to organizers. Of course the very reason why the event is being held in Jerusalem is because of those conservative beliefs, and Gay activists wish to confront them, in an effort to get greater recognition for their "cause". homosexuality. The Christian Voice is a UK group that organized protests
against the Jerry Springer Opera, which portrayed Jesus Christ as a

Sanhedrin Call for plans for Temple 23/6/05 |
Sorry, I should have posted this when I saw it first time. The Sanhedrin,
the newly established Jewish legal/religious body, has called on groups to
put forward plans for the rebuilding of the Third
Temple, for when the opportunity arises to build it.
Quote: "Nevertheless, the group will establish a forum of architects and engineers to begin plans for rebuilding the Temple - a move fraught with religious and political volatility. The group, which calls itself the Sanhedrin, is calling on the Jewish people to contribute toward the acquisition of materials for the purpose of rebuilding the Temple - including the gathering and preparation of prefabricated, disassembled portions to be stored and ready for rapid assembly, "in the manner of King David." Daniel states that the Jewish sacrificial system will soon be re-instated, possibly as a result of a peace agreement in the Middle East, of whom the Antichrist will be the main signatory (Daniel 9:27). During the tribulation period, the sacrifices will be stopped, and the Antichrist, will sit in the Temple and proclaim Himself as God (2nd Thessalonians 2:3-4). The Temple Institute already has most of the artefacts of the Temple recreated ready for use, and the fact that Rabbis are even considering rebuilding the Temple shows us how close the events mentioned in the book of Revelation may be. Gay marriage December date for Gay law in N. Ireland 23/6/05 |
Some local news for a change. A Church of Ireland cleric has expressed his
fear that the UK government will impose a Gay
civil-union law on Northern Ireland this coming December, when the Act
is due to become law in England.
Quote: "Bishop Harold Miller told the Down and Dromore Synod in Moira parish hall yesterday that the Government appeared intent on imposing on Northern Ireland civil partnerships for gay and lesbian couples by December. "These issues will continue to run, not only in the Church, but in the province, as the Government seems determined to introduce a form of civil partnership into Northern Ireland, beginning, so far as I can see, in December," he said. With no Assembly running, it may make it more difficult to voice opposition against this bill, which will deal a blow to the already faltering family-unit in Northern Ireland. Hopefully with the DUP's increased majority in the House of Commons, there will be a greater voice speaking on behalf of the people of Northern Ireland against this bill. Source Belfast Telegraph |

Islam Koran abuse 22/6/05 |
An Israeli has been killed in retaliation for the so-called "Koran
abuse" in Megiddo, Israel. Islamic Jihad claimed responsibility for
the attack.
Israel investigated the Koran abuse story, and found that Israeli guards had not torn pages out of a Koran. In fact, pages had been torn out of a Koran by Palestinians, who used it to build a model of the Dome of the Rock. Another Palestinian prisoner in Ashkelon was also caught in the act, tearing pages out of a Koran and flushing them down the toilet. Source BBC |

Morals Parents ignore violent game ratings 22/6/05 |
With violent
games on the increase, and available to an increasingly younger
audience, new research shows that a majority of parents ignore warnings on
the box, and let their children play games that are not suitable for their
age.
Quote: ""Most parents think their child is mature
enough so that these games will not influence them," Modulum researcher
Jurgen Freund told a games conference. It is true, that most adults can easily differentiate between what is a game, and what is reality. It's sad that most parents don't seem to understand that children cannot so easily do this, and can be profoundly mentally affected by the things they see and hear. This is the reason we have age limits on videos and games. Having seen first hand the effects violent games have on young children, I just hope that something can be done about this trend sooner rather than later. Ezekiel 28:16 Source BBC |

Israel Qurei flees Palestinian gunfire 22/6/05 |
Palestinian PM, Ahmed Qurei, was forced to flee a meeting he was speaking at
today in the West Bank, after Palestinians fired
shots into the building he was in.
Quote: "Mr Qurei was not harmed but had to flee the Balata
camp in Nablus amid more gunfire. An explosive device also went off, but
nobody was injured. The shooting makes a mockery of the PA's attempt to court the terror groups. The PA should realize that actively recruiting terrorists into the Palestinian Police force is not the way to bring lasting peace to the region. If the PA had lived up to their responsibilities of disarming all terror groups, as the Middle East "roadmap" demands, this event would likely have not happened. Source BBC |

Israel Tahdiah "only in name" 21/6/05 |
Palestinian violence continues to escalate in the Middle East, making a
mockery of the "tahdiah", or "temporary calm" which
President Abbas had supposedly secured. Israeli forces prevented possible
mass-carnage today, when they arrested a young Palestinian
woman, who had an explosives belt tied around her waist. She was on her
way to a hospital in Beersheba to receive treatment for burns, where she
intended to detonate the explosives. Thankfully the explosives failed to go
off.
Quote: "In an interview shown on Israeli television, Ms Bis said her "dream was to be a martyr". She said she was recruited by the al-Aqsa Martyrs' Brigades - an off-shoot of Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas' Fatah faction. Ms Bis also said she had been angry over allegations that Israeli guards had ripped out pages of the Koran at a prison in northern Israel, claims Israel denies. "What angered me and the Palestinian people is the abuse of the Koran," she said. "Should we sit in silence with our hands tied?" Later, she pleaded for mercy because she "didn't kill anyone". How a young girl could equate killing dozens of innocent people as justified retaliation for Israeli prison guards "abusing" a religious book, a story which wasn't even true, boggles the mind. It shows the amount of indoctrination and brainwashing Palestinian youths must go through, where killing one's self along with other innocent people is seen as honouring God. The media must also be held fully accountable the reports they broadcast, especially when they are inaccurate and have a tendency to incite violence. Source BBC, Jerusalem Post |

Lawlessness Rape and murder 20/6/05 |
I have just read about two horrific incidents which occurred in the last few
days, of which I even questioned putting on this site, such was the severity
of the incidents.
A boy is under arrest in America, after having been caught in the act,
raping a neighbour's dog. The dog later died from its injuries. The teen was
also charged with the rape
of two children of another neighbours. I won't even quote from these articles, as they are too graphic, and absolutely disgust me. Jesus Christ stated that "as it was in the
days of Noah, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man", Luke
17:26. In the days of Noah, God said that the whole world had
corrupted themselves in His sight, and that He would destroy man, whom He
had created. Genesis 6:5-6 |

Islam Palestinian tears up Koran 20/6/05 |
A Palestinian prisoner in Ashkelon has been "caught
in the act" of desecrating a Koran in an Israeli jail, putting a
completely new twist on the media's affair with so-called "Koran
abuse".
Quote: "A Palestinian female prisoner from Shikma Prison near Ashkelon desecrated a Koran on Sunday and tore pages from the book which she threw into a toilet, the Prisons Service said. A guard succeeded in retrieving the pages from the toilet and turned them over to the Prison management. The prison warden ordered an investigation into the incident. The Western media has been quick to blame the US over alleged Koran desecrations, with Newsweek having to retract their article because of lack of evidence, and had only one source who wasn't willing to back up the story. It seems with Palestinian Arabs now getting in on the act, the media will have to check their sources more carefully. Source Jerusalem Post |

Spiritual darkness "Crucified" Nun dies on cross 19/6/05 |
I was shocked when I read this article
on the BBC's website, how a young 23 year old Nun was "bound to a
cross" and left for 3 days in a convent in Romania as
"punishment" for supposedly being possessed by a demon.
Quote: "Police say the 23-year-old nun, who was denied food and drink throughout her ordeal, had been tied and chained to the cross and a towel pushed into her mouth to smother any sounds. A post-mortem is to be carried out, although initial reports say that Cornici died from asphyxiation. This story reminds me of years ago in Ireland, where Catholic nuns who gave birth to Priests' babies in the convents used to lower them down into lime pits to die, rather than being found out for what they had done. Sadly I imagine this is only the tip of the iceberg, and shows the spiritual darkness that pervades in countries where superstitious beliefs, under the guise of religion, hold sway. We have had many stories in the press lately in the UK of 300 African boys that went missing from London, who it is believed have ended up as ritualistic sacrifices for Africans living in Britain. African culture is full of superstition, and when when family members suffer sickness or die, often innocent people are blamed for putting a "curse" on them, and terrible retribution is carried out. |

Morals Spanish protests over Gay marriage bill 18/6/05 |
Spain looks set to be the first European state to legalize
gay marriage, when the Spanish Upper house will vote on whether to make
the new bill law. The Lower house has already passed the bill, which will
make it legal for gay citizens living in Spain to marry and adopt
children.
A rally in protest of the legalization of gay "marriage" has been organized for 6pm today, and they hope to have around 500,000 in the march on Madrid. I just wonder how Europe will play its part here, seeing we are all governed by Brussels, will Spain's ruling affect the rest of us Europeans? Ironically, a recent scientific study by world experts into gay adoption found that children raised in a gay environment were more susceptible to "low self-esteem, stress, confusion regarding sexual identity, an increase in mental illness, drug use, promiscuity, STD’s, and homosexual behaviour, amongst others." Quote: "HazteOir, concerned by the apparent unquestioning acceptance in Spain of homosexual adoption, hopes that the wide array of information provided in the report and its extensive bibliography will prove to the Senate that homosexual parentage is harmful for children. The president of HazteOir stated, in light of the findings of the report: “In no way can a couple of persons of the same sex be judged suitable for adopting a child. Considering the findings of this vast bibliography we are obliged to protect the minor and say that same-sex couples must not be allowed to adopt children.” |

Apostasy Is Jesus Christ the Son of God? 16/6/05 |
Stupid question? Apparently not for the United
Church of Christ in America, a denominational umbrella covering many
churches, who will put this question to those gathered at their up-coming
convention.
Quote: "It may seem like a slam dunk, but delegates for the 1.3 million-member United Church of Christ may reject the resolution. Several Bergen County pastors, who aren't delegates to the convention, said they expect the measure to fail. "Religiously speaking, it sounds like apple pie," said the Rev. Raymond Kostulias of the First Congregational Church of Park Ridge. "But there is a judgmental quality to it that implies very strongly that those who do not agree with us are condemned or damned or hopeless - and that's exactly the thing that UCC is against." I never thought I would see this day, but it looks like it will happen... Question is for the UCC, if Jesus Christ is not God, who was He? 2 Peter 2:1 Source North Jersey |

Anti-Semitism Electronic Intifada 16/6/05 |
If you thought the Palestinian Authority had changed their tune since the
death of Arafat, and had become true peace brokers of the Middle East, you
should maybe think again. The PA claimed a few days ago that Israel is
selling "carcinogenic
juice" to Palestinians and dumping toxic waste in the West Bank,
amid other ridiculous statements.
Quote: "Such allegations, which were common under Yasser Arafat's rule, have resurfaced in recent weeks in the Palestinian media. PA officials have also accused Israel of dumping toxic chemical waste in some areas in the West Bank with the intention of causing severe damage to the health of Palestinians. Last month, PA-controlled newspapers claimed that Israel was using wild pigs to destroy crops and agricultural farms in the West Bank. The papers claimed that settlers and IDF soldiers were seen setting loose many wild pigs near Palestinian villages as part of a campaign designed to destroy the Palestinian economy. Such claims, although obviously untrue, incite Palestinian violence and hatred against Israel, and are especially despicable coming from officials who are meant to be trying to curb violence - not incite it, and who hope to form the first Palestinian government. If they are prepared to lie about these things, what else are they prepared to lie about in order to achieve their goal (the destruction of Israel)? Source Jerusalem Post |

Israel PA will not disarm militants 14/6/05 |
According to Hal Lindsay, President Bush put his foot in it when he stated
that the Israel/Palestine borders should legally be the 1949 armistice
lines. This meaning that the official US position is, that Israel has no
legal right to a united Jerusalem, and thus no Temple Mount. This has
resulted in the PA declaring that no Palestinian terrorist group will be disarmed
until Israel withdraws from the entire Gaza strip and West Bank. Not that
President Abbas intends to disarm terrorists, for he has actively recruited
them into the PA police force, guns and all.
Quote: "Under international law, the Palestinian people have the right to resist this occupation and defend themselves," Kidwa, the former Palestinian envoy to the United Nations, told Reuters in an interview. "When occupation ends, it becomes a different matter. It would have to come to a national position to start disarming everybody, everybody but the security apparatus," he said, referring to Palestinian Authority security forces. Of course, "resistance" in Palestinian sense of the word, means killing innocent civilians, which under International Law is called a crime against humanity. This situation puts Israel in a very dangerous position, because in any "right of return" which the PA demands, Israel cannot absorb over a million Palestinians (and give them full Israeli citizenship) and remain a Jewish state. And if Israel do not succumb to PA demands, the terrorists will claim that Israel has violated the agreement, and take up arms once more. Source Stuff |

Israel PA brings back death sentences 14/6/05 |
In a move which has brought about international condemnation, the PA has
carried out death sentences on Palestinians for the first time since 2002.
Yasser Arafat, as head of the PA, used to approve the death sentences
himself until pressure was put on him by President Clinton to stop them.
President Abbas has asked for an Islamic ruling to reinstate death
sentences.
The first PA death sentences were carried out on Sunday, three by hanging and one by firing squad. A majority of news reports have portrayed the four men as murderers, but Israel National News states that one man was killed because he collaborated with Israel in passing on information of the whereabouts of a wanted Hamas terrorist. Morals Gay protests demand School staff take Homophobia lessons 14/6/05 |
"Gay rights" protestors are campaigning in the US against a School district in which they demand that teachers are forced to take Homophobia lessons, due to supposed discrimination against gay and lesbian pupils. As usual, the ACLU may get involved... Quote: "“I’m giving them time to redeem themselves,” said Daley, an Institute for Global Commerce and Government junior. “If the problems are fixed, then I won’t move any further with it.” Daley is talking to the American Civil Liberties Union about harassment of gays on campus, though the ACLU hasn’t made a commitment to represent Daley if he decides to file a lawsuit, said Tamara Lange, a lawyer with the organization. Isn't it interesting, the words "Gay" and "Pride" are both sins which God hates (although God hates all sin). We read in the book of Ezekiel, that "pride" was one of the sins of Sodom... Ezekiel 16:49 Also, Isaiah mentions a particular characteristic of Sodom's sins, was that they were declared openly, just like we have today, in these many "Gay Pride" parades. Religious hatred UK Religious hatred bill re-unveiled 9/6/05 |
The UK Labour government have unveiled their plans to re-introduce the
controversial Religious
Hatred bill. The bill was dropped from the government's anti-terror laws
before the election, coming under fire from both Christians and Muslim
groups, who believe it will make it a criminal offence to evangelise or
criticize other faiths. This has already happened in Australia, which
introduced a similar bill some years ago. Pastor
Daniel Scott was jailed for speaking to his own gathering about Islam, because
a visiting Muslim did not like his remarks.
In their usual arrogance, as seen in the recent UK elections, the Labour government accuses those who see genuine problems with this bill as "holding back progress". Famines China water shortage by 2030 9/6/05 |
If current estimates of population growth continue in China, experts say
there will be a severe water
shortage by 2030, when China is expected to have a population in excess
of 1.6 billion. China has 20% of the world's population, and only 7% of the
world's water supplies.
Revelation 6:5-6 The book of Revelation shows us that during the tribulation period, there will be a worldwide shortage of food which will cause prices to rocket. When the verses above were written, a penny was a day's wages. And the care taken over the handling of the oil and wine shows us how scarce these things will become. Source China |

Sanhedrin New leader chosen 8/6/05 |
Rabbi
Adin Steinsaltz has been chosen as the new temporary head of the
Sanhedrin, the highest Jewish legal/religious tribunal in Israel.
Quote: "There is also a broad consensus, even among national religious rabbis such as Rabbi Avraham Shapira and Rabbi Mordechai Eliyahu, that no steps should be made toward the building of a Third Temple. The re-establishment of the Sanhedrin, after 1400 years, is an extremely significant event. It would have been the Sanhedrin that Jesus Christ appeared before He was sent to Pilate to be crucified (Mat 26:59, "Now the chief priests, and elders, and all the council, sought false witness against Jesus, to put him to death"). The Jewish Sanhedrin may also be the group that will officially recognize the Antichrist as their Messiah... John 5:43 Although some say no steps should be made toward the rebuilding of the Third Temple, this is one of the primary concerns of the Sanhedrin. A Third Temple must also be built in order to be desecrated during the tribulation by the abomination of desolation which the Lord Jesus spoke of (Mark 13:14-16, Daniel 12:11), and this Temple will also be the place where the Antichrist will take up his residence for the last 3 1/2 years of the tribulation period. 2 Thessalonians 2:3-4 Source Jerusalem Post |

Middle East Spanish PM - Europe appeases terror 8/6/05 |
The previous Spanish Prime Minister, in an interview
with the Jerusalem Post, has stated that Israel should do its best to ignore
European pressure for a solution to the conflict, because Europe has a track
history of appeasing terror and is largely pro-Palestinian.
Quote: ""Europe likes appeasement very much; this is
one of the most important differences between us and the States," Aznar
said in an interview on the Bar-Ilan University campus. "Europeans
don't like any problems. They prefer appeasement." Even though this is true, and that can only be shown by France and other states' willingness to turn a blind eye to men like Saddam, we are told in the Bible that Europe will be a key player in the peace process in the Middle East. The leader of the European Union (Antichrist) is to put his signature to the seven year peace treaty, mentioned in Daniel 9:27, which will mark the start of the tribulation period. Javier Solana also recently told Israeli ministers that they had to deal with Europe (as regards to the peace process), "whether they liked it or not". Source Jerusalem Post |

Persecution Saudi crackdown 7/6/05 |
While the media in the US and UK are bending over backwards trying to accommodate
Muslims in their "supposed" Quran desecration, even after Newsweek
famously had to retract their article claiming a Quran was flushed down the
toilet during prisoner interrogation, Saudi Arabia launched a crackdown of
their own which has went largely unreported in media circles.
Quote: "International Christian Concern reported it had
learned of 46 confirmed arrests in the Middle Eastern country through June
1. The arrests included eight Indian nationals who were taken into custody
May 28, according to ICC. It also has confirmed reports of police
ransacking the houses of Christians and destroying Bibles, ICC reported.
Regular Saudi police and Muttawa religious police have carried out these
actions, according to the ICC. Source BPNews |

Terrorism UK admits Hamas contacts despite terror 7/6/05 |
The UK government has continued its policy of secret
talks with terrorist organizations, this time not with the IRA - but
with Hamas, who have recently become favourites in the Palestinian
elections.
Even though today, Hamas launched three Kassam rockets at Sderot in Israel, that killed two people and wounded six others, Jack Straw of the UK government admitted his staff have had two previous contacts with Hamas. Quote: "On the UK's low-level meetings with Hamas, Shuli Davidovich, spokeswomen at the Israeli Embassy in London, said: "Any dialogue will empower the extremists and not the moderates on the Palestinian Authority. "As long as Hamas continued to go through the route or terrorism we can't perceive them as a political organisation." Source BBC, Jerusalem Post |

Anti-Semitism French paper found guilty in court 6/6/05 |
The French newspaper, Le Monde, has been found
guilty of "racial defamation" of Jews in a landmark court
ruling, although this ruling has went largely unreported in major media circles.
You can read the full article here. Quote: "One is hard pressed to imagine that a nation of fugitives, descended of the people persecuted longest in the history of humanity, having been subjected to the worst humiliations and the deepest contempt, should be able to transform itself in two generations into a "dominating and self-assured people" and, with the exception of an admirable minority, a contemptuous people taking satisfaction in humiliating others. It seems that the intention of the author was not to label "all Jews" as a "contemptuous people taking satisfaction in humiliating others", but that was what was written, and this case shows just how subtly the media makes play on words in order to put their slant across. Quote: "The French umbrella group for Jewish associations, CRIF, said it "noted with satisfaction" the appeal court ruling, adding that the verdict "clearly set limits on a deviation that consists of incriminating 'the Jews' in the name of a criticism of Israel". The group added: "We have always considered that criticism of Israeli policy falls under the category of the free and democratic exchange of ideas, but that debate cannot express itself as a demonisation of Israel nor of the Jews." Temple Mount Muslims attack visitors 6/6/05 |
A group of around 200 Arab youths stoned
police guarding a group touring the Temple Mount today. Police returned
fire with stun grenades, in order to disperse the crowd. In a remarkable
twist of logic, with the tired old strategy of blaming Israel for
everything, President Abbas and Palestinian Prime Minister Qurei released
these statements about the incident...
Quote: ""The Israeli government and the international community must stop these unjustified and dangerous violations that risk reaping regrettable consequences," he said during a tour of a Palestinian school in the West Bank town of Ramallah. Palestinian Prime Minister Ahmed Qurei said the incident occurred because a "horde of extremist and criminal settlers attacked the al-Aqsa". He said the Palestinian stone throwers were defending themselves. Source BBC |

Israel CFR meets Abbas 3/6/05 |
The President of the Council on Foreign Relations - another front for the
New World Order, has held a press
conference with Mahmoud Abbas about the peace process in Israel.
President Abbas restated his belief that there can be no peace without East
Jerusalem...
Quote: "You cannot have a viable state without East Jerusalem for a very central reason. We are talking about territories that were occupied in 1967, and East Jerusalem falls into that part of territories that were occupied in 1967. We are not asking for anything more than what was taken in 1967 and became occupied territories. I think this is a clear issue, and we made that very clear in all of our meetings, either the ones we had with the Israelis or the ones we had with various [inaudible]. The Bible states that in the last days, before Christ's return to earth, Jerusalem would become a source of worldwide contention... Zechariah 12:2-3 Israel is not prepared to give up Jerusalem under any circumstances. It has been their capital for over 3000 years, and East Jerusalem possesses Judaism's most holy site, the Temple Mount. Already over one third of all UN resolutions are made concerning Israel, and the Middle East has become the centre stage for governments seeking to achieve peace in the world. Tony Blair even recently stated that the situation in the Middle East does affect people on the streets of Britain, because it is a worldwide issue. Peace will be achieved, but it will be short-lived. The Antichrist (the leader of the EU) will sign a peace agreement with Israel and the surrounding nations for 7 years (Daniel 9:27). But the Antichrist himself will break the peace agreement in the middle of the 7 years, and turn against the Jews. He will gather all nations against Jerusalem to destroy God's people once and for all. East Jerusalem will once again come under the foot of the Gentiles, but only for a brief period... Zechariah 14:2 But the Lord Jesus Christ will return at this point and will destroy all those nations that came against Jerusalem, and set up an everlasting kingdom which shall never be destroyed (Daniel 2:44). Blasphemy New Bible portrays Jesus Christ as a woman 3/6/05 |
A new
Bible translation has been published in the US by LBI, Law &
Business Institute, which redefines Jesus Christ as a woman, called Judith
Christ. They claim the reason for doing this is to "empower"
women, say that the name "Yeshua", which is the Hebrew for
"Jesus" and means "Saviour", should actually be
"Judith", which instead actually comes from the root name of
"Juda", or "Judas".
Quote: "A passage compiled from Luke 2, with corresponding verses at the beginning of each sentence, says: "4 And Joseph went to Bethlehem. 5 To be enrolled with Mary, his wife, who was then pregnant. 7 And she brought forth her firstborn child. 21 And her name was chosen to be Judith." A passage on the crucifixion, from John 19, says: "17 And She bearing her cross went forth. 18 There they crucified Judith." 2nd Peter 2:1 Source WorldNetDaily |

EU Constitution Latvia approves 2/6/05 |
The Latvian parliament approved
the EU Constitution today, with a large majority, while EU leaders are in crisis
talks over what to do about the French and Dutch rejection. Latvia is
the tenth state to do so.
Quote: ""Our goal is a more competitive EU," Mr Pabriks said. He blamed the French and Dutch "No" votes on domestic problems in both countries and "the inability of some politicians to offer a new vision to people". |

Lawlessness abounds UK Children hang baby 2/6/05 |
Several children aged from ten to twelve have been arrested in the UK,
accused of the attempted
murder of a young child by hanging. The child managed to escape its
captors, and was found later with marks around his neck and other serious
injuries.
It marks a new low for British society, coming a twelve years after the murder of Jamie Bulger, a toddler who was abducted from a shopping centre in broad daylight, and savagely killed by two young boys, who had previously watched a horror film, Child's Play 3, in which a young child was murdered in a similar manner. And yet the UK television watchdog, OfCom, continues to press ahead with its efforts in hammering away the standards of broadcasting, seeking to bring in R18 rated material, for public consumption. They claim a majority of people find this type of viewing "acceptable", and yet on the other hand refuse to act against shows like Jerry Springer the Opera, where a record 60,000 complaints were received. EU Constitution Netherlands say NO 1/6/05 |
The Netherlands rejected
the EU Constitution today, by an overwhelming majority of 61%, with a 60%
turnout, coming just three days after France's rejection.
Quote: "If you realise that two-thirds of parliament supported the constitution and two out of three people in the land are against, it means a lot is wrong in the country." - Geert Wilders. We have exactly the same problem in the UK, with a parliament and government that is no longer accountable to the people it was created to serve, run by politicians with treasonous agendas from foreign influences. New World Order Bilderberger heads World Bank 1/6/05 |
Paul Wolfowitz,
a permanent member of the Bilderberg
group, which is striving to create a "new world order", has
taken his place as the new head of the World Bank. The World Bank is
apparently in talks with the UN to create a universal tax on oil which would
affect every citizen on earth, the proceeds of which would go to the UN to
increase its influence as a world power. Paul Wolfowitz is also criticized
for his involvement in the war in Iraq.

Morals Boycott of Ford announced 1/6/05 |
American Family Association has launched a boycott
of the Ford Motor Company, at www.boycottford.com, for its active
participation towards funding the "homosexual agenda".
Quote: ""From redefining family to include homosexual marriage; to giving hundreds of thousands of dollars to support homosexual groups and their agenda; to forcing managers to attend diversity training on how to promote the acceptance of homosexuality; to sponsoring a commitment ceremony -- that is, 'marriage'; to sponsoring 'gay pride' parades, Ford leads the way," Wildmon states. "The goal of every homosexual organization supported by Ford is to get homosexual marriage legalized." Ephesians 6:12 Source Agape Press |
