SOS Israel, a right-wing Jewish organization which has blamed the many disasters that have befallen Israeli politicians on their willingness to divide God's land, is calling for the establishment of a second Jewish state in Judea and Samaria, in order to prevent the creation of a Palestinian state. In an article entitled "The Coming Earthquake", Rabbi Dov Wolpe laments the Gaza disengagement, which resulted in the forced eviction of around 9000 Israeli citizens as part of an effort to forge peace with Palestinian terrorist groups. He has also called on IDF soldiers to resist orders to evict Israelis living in the territories. Noting the Defence Minister's proposed evacuation compensation bill for residents of Judea and Samaria, Dov says the Jewish people must learn the lessons of the Gaza disengagement and resolve not to let it happen again.

Quote: ""The answer is simple," he writes. "First of all we must understand that 'it will come to pass,' in other words- to internalise the lessons of the cruel expulsion from Gush Katif and to cease living in illusions. It is upon us to choose if we want to be brought to the slaughter, God forbid, or to stand up for our lives against the government's intentions. "There is no doubt then that the only solution is to immediately declare the establishment of an autonomous Jewish state in Judea and Samaria. The time has come to seriously consider erecting a legal body that will unite the Jewish settlements in Judea and Samaria as a state-to-be," Rabbi Wolpe wrote.

The Scriptures state that after the Lord regathers His people to the land, there would no longer be two Jewish states upon the mountains of Israel.

Ezekiel 37:21-22
And say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will take the children of Israel from among the heathen, whither they be gone, and will gather them on every side, and bring them into their own land: And I will make them one nation in the land upon the mountains of Israel; and one king shall be king to them all: and they shall be no more two nations, neither shall they be divided into two kingdoms any more at all:

Not only will there never be two Jewish states, but I take it that these verses indicate that there will never be a Palestinian state on the mountains of Israel. From the time of the Babylonian invasion in 586 BC, many world empires have occupied the land of Israel. But there has never been an independent state established in the Holy Land, nor has Jerusalem ever been the capital of any other people. For Jerusalem is the city where God has chosen to place His name (1st Kings 11:36). Of course these verses place the whole world in direct opposition to the revealed will of God, for the international community has become drunk on the "vision" of two states. Thus the situation in the Middle East can only become more and more desperate, as the nations continue to burden themselves with the issue of the Jerusalem, in stubborn defiance of the God of Israel.

Zechariah 12:2-3
Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling unto all the people round about, when they shall be in the siege both against Judah [and] against Jerusalem. And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it.
