Two Christians have been killed and two others have been seriously wounded after after a gunman entered a YWAM missionary training centre in Denver, Colorado today. The man and woman who were killed were in their mid-twenties. One other person remains in critical condition. All four involved in the incident were employed at the centre.

Quote: "Witnesses told police that the gunman was a 20-year-old white male, wearing a dark jacket and skull cap. He may have glasses or a beard. "There's no blueprint for this, we're just going to be honest and pray for one another, cry with one another," center director Peter Warren told KUSA-TV. "Who knows what was going on in this young man's life."

There may be no blueprint for the recovery of those involved in this tragedy, but there certainly seems to be a blueprint to the mindless attacks which are being perpetrated by these individuals. It is the second such shooting to have occurred in the United States this week. Last Wednesday a man entered a shopping mall in Omaha, Nebraska and shot dead at least nine individuals. Robert Hawkins had underwent four years of psychiatric therapy for threatening to murder his grandmother. Acquaintances say he also had an addiction to drugs and a long history of mental depression. He left a three page suicide note explaining the reasons for his actions...

Quote: "Killer Robert Hawkins, 19, apologised to his family, saying he couldn't take "this meaningless existence anymore". The teenager said he had been a "constant disappointment" and did not want to be a burden for his loved ones. He left the three-page note at the suburban house where he lived before going to the mall in Omaha, Nebraska. Hawkins opened fire with an AK-47, randomly shooting at people before committing suicide.

And last month we had the terrible shooting at a school in Finland. My friend Olli-Pekka sent me an email on this tragedy.  Pekka-Eric Auvinen shot dead seven pupils and a teacher in a bloody, premeditated rampage. He then turned the gun on himself. Auvinen had uploaded a video to YouTube portraying a high school massacre, along with the date he planned to carry out the attack. The killer had also stated on his website his motives for doing what he did, expressing his firm belief in evolution. He saw his own life the result of a meaningless evolutionary process, and through that conviction he saw nothing wrong with taking the lives of others.

Quote: "Life is just meaningless coincidence... a result of long evolutive development and a result of many reasons and elements. However, life is also that, what an individual wants to do with it. And I am my own life's dictator and god. And I have chosen my way. I have prepared to fight and die for my thoughts. Myself, as natural chooser, eliminating everybody, whom I see unfit, disgrace to mankind and an error of natural selection.

The famous British atheist and evolutionary scientist Richard Dawkins says, "Imagine no religion". I don't need to imagine, Richard. The evidence speaks for itself.

Romans 1:28-31
And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful: Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.
