"Then the serpent said to the woman, "You will not surely die." " - Genesis 3 V4 "...When he speaks a lie, he speaks of his own, for he is a liar and the father of it." - John 8 V44 Satan has deceived the world from the beginning and Eve was the first victim of his deception. We too very often find ourselves in the midst of Satan's deception and without the help of God even God's own elect would be deceived. We need to keep our hearts open to the Word of God and constantly seek the presence of our God through prayer. Jesus Christ is the truth and He is the only way that will protect us from the deceptions of Satan. Cling to Jesus and Satan will flee from you. "And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work." - Jesus Christ |
