"For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him" - 2 Corinthians 5:21
Many people ask if there was any other way for God to have saved mankind from our sin rather than sacrificing His Son on the cross. Our finite minds cannot fathom the holiness of God and His holy requirement to enter into His presence. No one can come into the presence of God without true righteousness. No one can come into the presence of God without true righteousness. If there was any other way, God would have provided for our salvation that way. But the only way to God is through Christ. Our Lord provided His own blood as the perfect sacrifice which satisfies the requirement of God. He made Christ who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Christ.
