"The devil, who deceived them, was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone where the beast and the false prophet are. And they will be tormented day and night forever and ever." - Revelation 20:10
What would the world look like without the devil? Devil declared victory over man with the first sin in the garden of Eden. But thankfully God is (and will be) still in control. With the fall of man, man waits for the day when everything God created will be restored to the former glory according to the will of God. God made a promise that He will bruise the head of Satan one day. Satan is free today and he is the accuser of the brethren, and he is still in the business of deceiving the nations and the cause for all the pain and suffering in the world. But not for too long. Satan's dominion will come to an end, and one day Satan, along with all evil angels and the antichrist will be cast into the lake of fire, never to be released again. This will be the time when sin and darkness will be permanently destroyed. Those who are Christ's will live in His holy presence forever. Are you Christ's? Does He know you? You can have that assurance today by inviting Christ into your heart this very moment, and committing you heart to Him.
