"If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." - 1 John 1:9
We live in a body of sin and only God can deliver us from falling into sin. When we continue to live in sin without confessing it to God, we lose fellowship with God and as a result lose the joy of salvation. Believers should confess their sin to God and to other believers, and live in fellowship with God. When we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Make it a habit to confess before God and strive to live a life pleasing to God, in His will.
