"...Death is swallowed up in victory. O Death, where is your sting? O hades, where is your victory?" - 1 Corinthians 15:54,55
Bible calls the death of a believer as sleep, because a believe in Jesus Christ never dies but is in the presence of Christ after their last moment on earth. Christ came so we may have life. He alone is the life giver, and outside of Christ all are dead. There is no hope for someone who rejects the grace of God through Jesus Christ our Lord. He is the resurrection and the life. He won victory over death by rising from the dead. Now through the work of Christ on the cross and His resurrection, death has been defeated. A believer lives on in the presence of Christ where there is peace and joy everlasting.
