The philosophy of worldliness is accumulate more because more is better from their eyes. But this is contrary to what the Bible teaches. Many are lost from truth while seeking the things of this world. Jesus Christ taught his disciples to love their enemies and not to return evil for evil. The wicked do not grasp how short life is. All the wealth they collect is just vanity. But the spiritual truth is, it is appointed for men to die once and then the judgment. So for those who are lost, their best life is on earth, because the moment after death everything they owned will be lost forever and they will await eternal judgment from the holy God. God sent His Son to the world to die for the sins of man. Those who put their trust in Him will have eternal life. This is true joy and wealth. A Christian's best life is with the Lord, in the life after.
