Christ's mission on earth was clear and He was focused on fulfilling the will of His Father. He came to die for the sins of His people. He knew how His earthly ministry would progress and how it will end with His crucifixion and death. 'Not My will but Thine be done' were the words of Christ before He let His enemies seize Him. Even when mocked by His enemies while hanging on the cross, Christ experienced the most gruesome suffering before He gave up His spirit. Christ won the victory by rising from the dead. He lived a perfect life in accordance to the perfect will of God. Let us follow His footsteps in being obedient to the Father and living a faithful life.
