"Now as he reasoned about righteousness, self control, and the judgment to come, Felix was afraid and answered, 'Go away for now; when I have a convenient time I will call for you.' " - Acts 24:25
"Then Agrippa said to Paul, 'You almost persuade me to become a Christian.' " - Acts 26:28
How many people hear the gospel and are almost persuaded by the message but reject the message? Paul preached to two such men, Felix and king Agrippa. Both heard from Paul the message of truth and God's plan of salvation. But their prominent position and pride caused these men to reject the gospel. We do not know if they later received the gospel, but the likelihood is very slim. Even in our world today there are many who hear the message of truth but take it lightly or think they will hear another time. Do not reject the message of truth and salvation. Do not be almost persuaded but make the decision today. This is the most important decision of life. Receive the Lord Jesus Christ into you heart today!
Praise the Lord!
