"But what things were gain to me, these I have counted loss for Christ." - Philippians 3:7
The young rich man approached Jesus seeking eternal life with good intentions, but lacked commitment. He approached Jesus with a religious mindset thinking he would get a great answer from Jesus because of all his good works. Lord Jesus got to the bottom of the most important need in this young man's life. He needed Jesus and Jesus made it clear to him by asking him to sell everything he has and follow Him. Sadly, the rich man chose his riches rather than Jesus. There are many in our world who would chose riches over Jesus. But apostle Paul is a great example of being a true follower of Jesus Christ. Apostle Paul counted all worldly things as loss. He rather would have Christ than the whole world. Are you willing to live for Jesus and leave all worldly things for His sake? Choose Jesus over all worldly riches.
