"For here we have no continuing city, but we seek the once to come." - Hebrews 13:14
For Christians our citizenship is in heaven because Christ made it possible through His sacrifice on the cross to be in His presence. This world is passing by and so are we who live in it. Those who trust in the Lord Jesus, they will be in the presence of Christ the moment we are absent from our body on earth.
