| "And at midnight a cry was heard: 'Behold, the bridegroom is coming; go out to meet him!" - Matthew 25:6
"For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first." - 1 Thessalonians 4:16
The coming of our Lord Jesus Christ will be first for His saints. He will come to receive His bride and He will come with a shout. This will be the shout of victory. All the dead in Christ will be raised first, then we who are alive and remain. This is the event theologians refer as the rapture of the church. This is the event that is due any time, in fact, early disciples, including apostle Paul, expected it to happen in their lifetime. The coming of our Lord is at hand. Like the five wise virgins, those who have trusted Christ will enter into His kingdom.
