"The Lord is my light and my salvation; Whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?" - Psalm 27:1
King David's confidence was in the Lord. In His distress he would always call upon the Lord. King David was not a perfect man, but he was a man after God's own heart. And his faith earned him that title. He made God his strength and salvation. With the confidence he had, he fought lions and defeated giants by the strength of the Lord. Do we have a heart for the Lord like king David? Let's also confidently say, 'the Lord is the strength of my life, of whom shall I be afraid?'.
