| "For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us" - Romans 8:18
"Therefore let those who suffer according to the will of God commit their souls to Him in doing good, as to a faithful Creator." - 1 Peter 4:19
The Bible teaches us of persecution that believers will face in the last days. Since the first century there have been persecution and execution of believers for following our Lord Jesus Christ. Many gladly laid their life for the cause of the Gospel because of the hope that was in front of them. This same hope is for all believers. Apostle Paul did not consider his sufferings to be worthy to be compared with the glory that awaits him. Therefore, let's not be afraid of the present time persecution but keep our eye on the future glory.
