"Now as he thus made his defense, Festus said with a loud voice, "Paul, you are beside yourself! Much learning is driving you mad!" But he said "I am not mad, most noble Festus, but speak the words of truth and reason." " - Acts 26 V24, 25 "For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to those who are being saved it is the power of God." - 1 Corinthians 1 V18 Paul explained his case before king Agrippa and governor Festus. He told them about how he met Jesus on the way to Damascus and became a follower of Christ thereafter. But both Agrippa and Festus rejected the message and called it madness. Ever wondered why some people get saved by the preaching of the word of God and some mock or reject? Those who are not Christ's they will not hear the voice of the Saviour but will reject and mock. Our duty as Christians however is to sow the seed of the Word of God and let God do the rest. The preaching of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to those who are being saved it is the power of God. Praise the Lord! "And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work." - Jesus Christ Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus!
