"Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I have become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal." - 1 Corinthians 13 V1 "And now abide in faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love." - 1 Corinthians 13 V13 One of the distinctive attributes of a Christian is love. God first loved us and He sent His only begotten Son to die for us. Those who receive Christ and follow Him exhibit the love of Christ toward others. If we say we are Christians and have not love then we are nothing. Christ displayed His love for us on the cross and He expects us to display the same to one another. Let us remember the greatest commandment our Lord gave us, which is to love God and to love one another. Praise God! "And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work." - Jesus Christ Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus! |
